2018

Well to start this I must first say my baby boy turned 18!!!!😭 Yep that's right Hunter is now a man.  I can't believe it.  Time has flown by.  If I ever have to give someone advice about their children or child is remember every minor thing and write down every big thing. Don't let the years go by without taking lots of pictures or make as many cherishable moments because it will all be gone before you know it.  Hunter has been through so much in his life and gas overcome so many obstacles and still keeps going.  He is so full of life and happiness. He mostly always has a smile on his face. He absolutely loves school and all of his classmates and his friends.  He sure loves his teachers and all the staff he gets to work with.  
Next big deal for this year so far is Lilly has finally pooped in the potty!   Sorry but its a big deal....as you moms know where I'm coming from! Yes poop is major big  She needs something to be proud of and we!l its just that.  She was so happy she kept going back and flushing the toilet numerous times just to make sure it went down. Haha. Kids are so funny!!! You don't need to read books on children when you can learn so much just from watching them and listening to them talk.  God love them!!!  I sure love mine!! 
Third thing is family.  My family... We now have family time every night.  We play uno or watch movies or even just sit around the kitchen table and talk. I love it. 

2017

Well to start off this year has been a heck of a lot of struggle to say the least. Job changes, and home changes, and a lot of difficulty, but we have managed to make it through.  Life isn't supposed to be easy they say, well they were right.  Lance changed jobs late summer, and its been really hard, very hard actually and it put a big hole in finances, so we have cut back on a lot including cable and what we spend our money on....athough we still go out to eat wayyyy too much. I dont know how to get him to understand how much we could save if he would just eat at home. I love to cook even if I'm not the best cook in the world, I still love to cook.  I have to say my cooking is getting better each day.  I use cookbooks and I am absolutely addicted to The Pioneer Woman and watch her religously!! Yes she is my all time go to!!! Ive been reusing old containers and totes for lots of storage, and also sewing up shirts that don't fit right or are too long. It's been a lot of fun. I love researching how to live the frugal life. I use Pinterest A LOT!  I have joined a frugal family club on Facebook and have learned how to reuse food, and what and how to freeze...the list is endless.
As to say for today...we are in a new home and i love it!  It's small and cozy and warm. Ive never been anywhere where I felt warm, actually HOME! I love making my home smell of food and warm fragrances in my tart warmer (thanks to my loving husband) and i never want to go anywhere....yep I've become a homebody and I am not ging to complain about it one bit.  I dont have the perfect life or the richest, but I love my life and all the caos that goes with it!!

Part of frugal....

Well I've begun my frugality.  I've reused old jars for storing pastas and sugars. I've reused my curtains for my living room instead of throwing them out I've started freezing mels...left overs. I have a list of tjngs I have yet to get done. Imslow!y getting there. I've redone our cable and cut out my cell phone bill.  Its not an easy thing to start unless you are 100% sure its how yoiu want to live...  I've even got my husband on board. We had a table that was made for something else but I made it my sons desk...well we changed his room and reused an old cabinet to store his stuff in and my husband took the table apart and is reusing the boards for something else for his boat. I'm so proud of him lol.
I am really enjoying this new way of life.  I wish I would've donbe it long ago....well technically i have...just didn't realize it before.  Anyway....I love my life.

Day 4

Today's picture is going to be one I actually already have because I'm not around her to take a new...but here it is..

 my niece Kelsie. She is an absolutely amazing and beautiful young lady. Shes growing up to be a wonderful girl. She is funny and kind and sweet and I just love her to pieces.  I hope she knows how special she is!!💕💕💕💕  love you kelsie

So this is a day late but its the new year. New things, new look on life. I'm goimg to try to live frugal and try hard to stick with it. I've been researching many different ways to save and be happy.  I've already started with my kitchen  and I'm going to be making canisters out of my old jars.  I'm really excited about it   anyway...heres to the new year and new life...

My second day pictures are a Christmas presenbt from my sister. I absolutely love these coasters. They are beautiful and what's better is that they are from her...and the fact that they say my name lol!  I redid my kitchen and they add a nice comfy touch. Love my kitchen. Thank you Cathy
